Virginia Wright-Peterson, Ph.D.
, a writer with deep roots in Minnesota, has written three books, all of which have been finalists for the Minnesota Book Award. She has taught writing and humanities for over fifteen years and held administrative roles with Mayo Clinic and University of Minnesota Rochester. She served as a Fulbright Scholar in Algiers, Algeria, and worked with the Red Cross on a U.S. military base in Iraq. Driven by curiosity and a commitment to social justice, Virginia Wright-Peterson focuses on untold stories that provide provocative perspectives on what we thought we knew.
